Greetings

My name is Kazuyo Irisawa and I’m a calligrapher and calligraphy instructor in Japan.
I have put effort into creating original calligraphy works. I have also used the power of the brush to give form to the thoughts and feelings of many people. For example, store, company logo, product packaging, New Year's postcards and greeting cards.
Furthermore, as a calligraphy instructor, I continue to convey the appeal of brush lettering to a wide range of age groups.

I will continue to fully express the potential of the brush and create the power that brush lettering can give to people.

Activities

Artistic Calligraphy

I create a wide range of calligraphy from classical to artistic calligraphy.
I continue to pursue the expression of ink and brush by creating works such as “Bokusaika,” a fusion of calligraphy and flowers.

I give calligraphy classes in Yokohama City and Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. I accept children who want to learn calligraphy, adults who want to improve their writing skills, and those who want a peaceful time. I offer a variety of curricula, including brush and pen calligraphy.
